This is a very well-kept 172.  It has always been hangared since the previous owner.  The plane was purchased to complete the owner's flight training in October 2006.  The previous owner purchased it the prior year to complete his training.  The previous owner did a major engine overhaul and the plane has run perfectly.  There is a remote history of damage on 3/4/96.  This is detailed on the NTSB website.  Prior to purchase and again during the annual, there was a thorough examination of the parts and there is no evidence of cable rust or damage otherwise to the plane.  The previous owner put new upholstery on the seats. the aircraft also has oversize tires from a 206 installed, making it a great soft field plane. The aircraft is in overall good condition mechanically, but needs paint and an interior upgrade.

The avionics include a Bendix-King Nav/Comm with CDI/Glideslope.  There is a Garmin GPS 100 but this is inoperable.  A buyer willing to "Buy It Now" will also receive a new Garmin 496 at no extra charge.
